During my whole life, I have been engaged in sports and wellness environments. However, my first bachelor's degree was in Tourism, which led me to Spain, where I lived for 3 years. On a vacation trip to Asia, I did my first massage certification. Back in Spain, I took massage therapy in Barcelona. I barely worked with massage because I realized that my passion was human movement. Therefore, I went back to my country and took a bachelor's in Physiotherapy.
I worked with high-performance athletes which brings me experience in sports recovery, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. Furthering, I studied Sports Physiology to have a deeper understanding of the effect of the exercises on the human body. In addition, I got certifications in Functional Training, Pilates, Isostreching, Myofascial Release, and Movement Re-education.
I came to Canada with my family in 2018. Currently, I am got a Fitness and Health Promotion diploma. I recently completed the first phase to work as a physiotherapist intern in Alberta. I am very proud to be part of Milestone Physio and Wellness to bring my knowledge and passion together helping the community people to have healthier days. I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish, I will be glad to help you if you have concerns about communication in these languages.
